Art for hope

Die Atlas (auch als Ikat oder Adras bekannt) ist eine einzigartige Webtechnik, die seit mehr als 1’000 Jahren von
traditionellen Handwerkern in Zentralasien verwendet wird. Inspiriert von den Formen von Blumen, Blättern und Früchten schaffen Künstler die unverwechselbaren Ikat-Muster. Während des Webprozesses wird jeder Kettfaden vor dem Weben je nach Muster einzeln geknüpft und gefärbt. Dies macht den Prozess zeitaufwendig.

Please note that, as with any other handicraft, each individual piece is unique and does not look exactly like the one in the photo. Due to the manufacturing process, there may be small deviations in the pattern that make your products unique.
